Does a VAC ban also come with a trade ban?

What the title says. No, I am not VAC banned. I'm just asking 'cuz I'm curious, y'know?

Upon receiving a VAC ban for either Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, or Half-Life 2: Deathmatch your items from Team Fortress 2 will be removed except any items that have been purchased.

You will also find those remaining items locked to the account so they may not be traded.

Just from the game you got banned in (or in the case of older Source Engine games, just in TF2). A VAC banned account is free to trade otherwise, albeit with a red mark on their profile.

Gee, sorry, but nobody said it was illegal or if it was considered "cheating" xD
On the more serious side though, it is not enforced and most of my friends use it. Achievements are not all that important for me though. Won't improve my game or changre anything :P

xD Okay then. Although I will say some people can be a bit butthurt about "cheaters". It is not even considered cheating. The dictionary definition is "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage", which in no way is related to some achievements. Does it help me or make me any better at the game? No. Does it level me up? No. It's just there for show. So I don't see why SAM should be so frowned upon.
