If you have 1 VAC Ban, are other VAC games affected?

Hi, just wanted to ask a quick question. If you have already recieved a VAC Ban will other VAC games such as Team Fortress 2 and GMOD other call of duty games be affected by this ban? or is it only applied to the game which you received the ban on?

Just double checking in-case if im flagged for a another ban if i try to play any other VAC games.

VAC Enabled Games

Please see the list of VAC enabled games on the Steam Store.
Valve games

The Valve Anti-Cheat system is enabled for servers displaying the Secured shield logo. Using custom skins, sounds or maps and playing multi-player mods which do not modify core .EXE and .DLL files will not result in a VAC ban

Cheating in one of the following Source games will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list and your items from Team Fortress 2 will be removed except any items that have been purchased:
Counter-Strike: Source
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Day of Defeat: Source
Team Fortress 2

Cheating in one of the following Gold Source games will result in a VAC ban for all games in the list:
Counter-Strike
Condition Zero

Thank you i think it is only applied to one game.
Note:
Excluding the games listed above, VAC bans will only apply to the game the cheat was detected in. For example, a VAC ban in Modern Warfare 2 will not affect Modern Warfare 3.

I received the ban on Black Ops 2. I just wanted to ensure my IP wasnt flagged for other games.

Another question i have is,
how many VAC bans can your steam account receive? is there a limitation?
also does the amount of VAC bans like for example will Valve remove your steam account permanently if you receive too many?

I just want to ensure this doesn't happen again..
i can live with this ban.. even though it looks bad on my account standing maybe over a few years it will be revoked? but i dont think so. This is my punishment anyway.

I don't think there is a limit but your VAC status won't be revoked.

I don't think there is a limit but your VAC status won't be revoked.

Oh okay, wasn't sure if there was like a limitation then your steam account would get banned or something. I appreciate all the information. I hope maybe the VAC ban will vanish in time.. but if not i hope this doesn't happen again. I wasn't trying to hack intentionally how this happened was i had a virus and i accidentally opened my Cheat Engine (miss-clicked the desktop shortcut) during the chaos when this virus spazzed out on me as i was playing a game (i didnt know i still had the trojan on the PC) I had the game open (i always play window fullscreen mode) i think thats probably why i got VAC banned because it detected me opening it up while all this stuff happened.. oh well mistakes happen. I wont deny it, this is completely my fault for the virus and me hitting the cheat engine program. Now that iv done a clean re-format i wont be installing anymore cheat engine. I only used it once to by-pass a certain RPG game i got stuck on. As i said mistakes happen i guess i gotta deal with the consequences im not to upset over it because Black Ops 3 is coming out in November and ill be playing that/replacing black ops 2 with it so yeah. It just looks bad, because every-time i visit my profile now all i see is red VAC banned writing.. :(
