VAC Authentication Error (tried it all)

Since I got the game about a month ago i have been getting periodic vac authentication errors mid game that usually cause me to miss the match and subsequently get a 30 min to 2 hour ban for leaving game.

I have tried everything on the steam support page for VAC authentication Errors, as well as numerous solutions posted on threads here and reddit. Nothing has worked. Today I just got kicked yet again, however it was somehow bumped to a week long ban. 2 hours i can deal with however a week seems excessive when there was no foul play involved.

If someone knows of a fix that i may have somehow missed let me know, I have windows 8.1 installed and have tried removing firewalls, checked for virus protection, ccleaner, and anything that may be the culprit and cannot find a solution.

Also if there is any way to reverse a ban let me know.. Thanks

Does this happen to you in non competitive games or only in competitive games?

It seems to happen far more often in comp matches. Though ill be honest I rarely play casuals. Hasnt ever happened on community servers though. Once it occurs it takes maybe an hour tops and i can play again (though the time varies pretty randomly)

Hmm odd, I think both casual and comp matches are VAC secured so i'm not sure why it only happens in one and not the other.

solved it by going back to windows 8.1 from windows 10 with clean install and csgo full reinstall

Ill give that a try, the problem is it only happens in comp matches so its hard to test without getting additional bans -.- thanks though!
