VAC BAN - Cant figure why, ,maybe BETA AMD Graphics Driver

I am playing CS:GO casually since around 2015. Started playing again with CS2 release.

A week ago, I realized that my Trust Factor was going down, since my friends got a note, that queue times might be increased due to my trust factor level.

Today on starting steam I got the message that my account is vac banned.

I have no idea why, never used any scripts or external programs, that are in a gray or completely dark area.

However, I used an AMD Beta Driver for my 7900XT (to get FMF in Cyberpunk).

I found this article (it's in German) [https://www.golem.de/news/anti-lag-amd-zieht-treiber-wegen-vac-bans-zurueck-2310-178494.html] which mentions a problem with a driver from October.

My Beta driver version is 23.30.01.02 and was released on 12.10.2023.

Hopefully, valve will notice this and remove the ban again.
And hopefully somebody reads this and updates / removes their beta driver before they get a Vacation too.

Neither Steam Support nor anyone on this forum can remove VAC bans, even if you feel the ban was wrongly applied.

Those kind of bans are applied if a known cheat is detected while the account, or an account related to the banned one by family library sharing or phone number sharing, connected to a secure server.

All VAC and game bans related to AMD AntiLag+ are already pardoned. That means you were not banned for AntiLag+.

In accordance with Section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account.

VAC bans are permanent and non-negotiable, no matter the motive or reason.
Therefore, due to their futility, VAC ban appeals are off-topic everywhere on Steam.

AMDs drivers aren't banning people again.

Valve introduced checks and do not allow AMD drivers with Anti-Lag+ to launch a VAC secured game. That particular driver version was the first driver AFTER the Anti-Lag+ debacle and AMD had removed it from that particular version first, and from all future versions so far.

So, you do not have Anti-Lag+ and were not banned for Anti-Lag+.

The driver situation was rectified weeks ago so it's nothing to do with that.

the game now prevents you from using the amd antilag feature, and the feature has been removed from amd driver releases since the debacle happened, and those bans have long since been reversed.

a player has no way of knowing what their trust factor is.

The story seems faked to me.

no post will result in the removal or review of an incorrect ban, the process is mostly automatic.

but i guess when you're totally panicking and doing anything to save your account, this is where you guys end up.

at the end of the day, if you cheated, they know. from that you can judge if the ban's coming off or not. no need to reply here.

Anti-Lag+ was removed. Anti-Lag which is present in AMD's drivers since 2019 is still in there and still does not cause bans.
