After opening several discussions on the subject of my account being VAC'd, I finally decided to confirm what really happened. Firstly, I'd like to apologise to everyone on Steam for my behaviour in being outraged by this situation with my account because I never believed it was real.

What happened was that someone created a secondary account and put in my mobile phone number. Now you're asking how they managed to put in my mobile number and confirm it? The situation is that I had lost my mobile phone and when they unlocked it they took advantage of everything on it. Even to the point of banning me from my Steam account. And I thought I had some wrong file on my computer.

Now the real question is, how do I change my mobile phone number and change my account with all my games? I want to remove the VAC but I already know how bad Steam is going to be, so I want to move everything to another account or restart this account from scratch without the VAC but with the games. There has to be justice, which Steam hasn't done with me, and this time I'm happy to ask Steam what way there is to get round the VAC, because in life there are opportunities for everyone.

Vac bans are issued for known cheats being detected on the computer while the account was connected to a vac server. VAC bans are delayed, what the account was doing at the time the ban was activated is unlikely to have anything to do with the ban.

Anything that tampers with protected game files is treated as a cheat regardless of it giving an advantage or not (skin changers, etc). Steam/Valve will not release any information about what was detected, that information will only help those that cheat and make cheats.

You are responsible for the security of the account and what is on the computer(s) the account uses. It does not matter who was using the account to cheat.

No one on the forums can remove nor investigate a ban. Only falsely applied VAC bans are removed automatically by the system at a later time.

This is not a ban appeal forum. You cannot appeal a VAC ban. Nothing you post is going to get the ban removed. There is an INFO link on your profile, click it and read what it tells you.

Appealing is futile.

Neither Steam Support nor anyone on this forum can remove VAC bans, even if you feel the ban was applied in error.

Those kind of bans are applied if a known cheat is detected while the account, or an account related to the banned one by family library sharing or phone number sharing, connected to a secure server.

In accordance with Section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account.

You should not share your phone number. It is used to identify you as the account owner. If an account is detected as using cheats and its phone number is linked to other accounts at the time of infraction, they will get banned, too.

You are responsible for the currency of your account information, this includes removing phone numbers you no longer own.

You are warned each time of the consequences for applying the phone number when you receive the confirmation SMS. Nobody but you can apply the phone number you own.

If you truly had lost your phone, you should have told your phone provider to ban your SIM immediately to prevent abuse.

VAC bans are permanent and non-negotiable, no matter the motive or reason.
Therefore, due to their futility, VAC ban appeals are off-topic everywhere on Steam.

Games cannot be transferred to a different account. You can try family sharing the games with the other account, but keep in mind not all games can be family shared.

It does not matter as far as the number if it was on an account that was previously VAC banned, in case you are not aware :

There are no restrictions placed on phone numbers that were on an account when the account was VAC banned; phone numbers can immediately be used on new accounts.

It's possible that when the ban was applied on your account, that was during the time when there was a 3 months cooldown on being able to add the number to an account, as the system would not allow the number to be used again until after that cooldown.

As you can see, that is no longer the way it works. Phone number can be used again and they won't cause any VAC bans unless a NEW cheating infraction takes place while using that number and the user shares the number to other accounts at that time.
