CS2 Vac banned for no reason? Only played for 3 hours????

I recently got banned from CS2 and I dont know why, I played a couple death match games on the dust map and died a lot and eventually It stopped me from getting on the public games so I just played in the practice mode which was much easier. Now on charismas day I got hit with a perma ban. I want to play this game because im a tf2 guy and wanted to get into the Skins. If I could find out why I was banned or how I could get unbanned. I like this game and I dont want to make another account to play it. :)

your GAME BANNED, not vac banned. a game ban is not a vac ban, has nothing to do with vac, and is issued for completely different reasons.

cs2 game ban = cheating, 2nd griefing offense, account boosting.

you will not be told what caused the ban. this is NOT a ban appeal forum, the ban is permanent. only falsely applied bans are removed, you dont get a say in it.

I also played death match and got ban for no reason . I think something is mess up with those bans !

I've been banned for a little bit now and now I know I was game banned, thank you, if it soothes yalls nerves I was also banned in a game of death match. Is there an offence in death-match because there is no killing teammates and I did not type anything in chat. Also what is account boosting? Is that like hacking a level up or something?

A) Bans are not instantaneous
B) Carrying or getting carried by higher ranking /skilled players

I want to believe you were banned for griefing but this is not the place to discuss game bans. If you are banned from CS GO it is for life and cannot be appealed under any circumstances. Make a new account and try again.

I was not banned instantly, I was banned the next day on Christmas. I know of people than have been rechecked and unbanned and have had game bans revoked, it happened a lot when the false bans started a little bit ago but its died down a bit but its still happening.

Here is a list of how I played the deathmatch game

I went solo and it was not in competitive
I never used chat and I played counter terrorists
I shot anyone I came across
I used the degal and the AWP because mama did not raise a coward
And then it would kick me out and I could not get on a game again
Next day it said I was game banned in a big yellow box in the middle of my screen on steam and I freaked out

I made this post to reach out to other people to see if I was alone which I am not and so that we can share our experiences. We dont know why we were banned and want to get someone to check over it which can only happen with time because they look at peoples banned accounts after a while to make sure they were not for no reason.

I just wanted answers and information from people who have had similar experiences. Im not planning to get unbanned or making a new account, I just have a problem with the VAC system.

Game bans are given out for blatant cheating, a second griefing offense, or being involved in account boosting.

If anyone in here has NVIDIA I have seen on reddit that that can be seen as a "hack device" on the banning thingamabob and that it is from updating it to the most recent one. I did that before I got CS2 because I play fortnite and it needs that to run it says. Just checking if yall have NVIDIA :)

Good thing that your game ban has nothing to do with VAC then, since you have an issue with the VAC system.

Use the 'info' button right on your profile next to that red text that says "game ban". That will give you all the 'info' that you need.

I made this post to see if people had the same issue, I dont care about getting unbanned and I know that it probrably wont happen, I wanted to help people find out why they have been banned because the Steam Support does not help and only quotes the guidelines because they cant look at it. Steam has people that look over banned accounts to make sure they wernt false for anyone who has a serious issue like having played the game a lot and needing there account back.

Then you should be relieved to know, that game bans for CS2 have nothing to do with VAC and thus can't be triggered by "faulty drivers" but due to cheating or excessive griefing.

You say you want to help people.........but when you post a game ban topic in a VAC discussion forum, all it does it create further confusion between these two completely different anticheat systems, and the community has enough of that to go around as it is :

Game ban threads don['t belong here. No one can verify anything that someone posts anyway.

If someone posts, "Yea I have Nividia" or "Yea I did the same as you did and that is how I also got banned", then that is all it takes for you to believe them ??
