Game ban on COD for buying banned account

Bought an account that was in good standing. After a few days of buying but i didn't even open the game, the account was banned. Now i cant even unlink it from my steam and shows as a ban on my profile ugh. Literally didn't even play it, no hours and it was banned. I'm assuming the ban was there but i couldn't see it on activision. I contact them but they are not even responding and steam wont do anything about it. RIP

That is NOT your account. Buying and selling accounts is forbidden. And now you know WHY it has been sold to you. Bans are delayed.

This is why you don't buy accounts. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Buying account is generally not allowed on any platform so no neither Valve nor Activision will help.

You're not allowed to use accounts you did not create yourself.
Buying and selling accounts is a severe violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and can get the account either permanently suspended or even terminated.

Additionally, you got scammed. They sold you a tainted account and are now laughing while having your money.

admitting to this can get your account terminated.

selling/buying steam accounts is illegal, and prohibited in steam ssa/eula

you're complaining about foul play, while you feed into the steam black market. do you not know the concept of 'clean hands' ?

I understand I made a mistake, I wish I could just unlink. I just didn’t want to grind certain camos and stuff in Warzone but I guess I’ll pay the price and live with it. Never doing this mistake again!

You'll need a new Steam account and Activision account and a new phone number.

Fun fact, the original account owner can take the account back at any time. This means you could spend hundreds/thousands on games over the next however many years and then lose it all instantly

Ditch the bought account and create your own
