VAC Banned 3000 Days ago.

So 3000 days ago around 6 - 7 years ago i was vac banned. Bro seriously come the ♥♥♥♥ on, i was 10 years old and installed cheats for CS Source, i wanna play TF2 Competitive.

In the past, Valve tried temp bans, they didn't work. Cheaters would keep right on cheating when the ban was up.

Do you think they would say "sure, you should be unbanned now".

There is no point in ever asking for a VAC ban to be removed. They are permanent.

Permanent means just that.............permanent.

I know, but i think it should be changed, hear me out here, when i was 10 years old i remember cheating it was stupid and at the time i didn't know the consequences and didn't understand them that i was doing wrong, i think there should atleast be a time where you can go and redeem yourself some how

You can redeem yourself on a new account, and don’t cheat this time. Even a 10 year old should know cheating is wrong. Actions have consequences.

Guess what ? The cheaters went right back to cheating after their bans were removed. As usual, people messed up a good thing, so now they are permanent.

Of course you think the rules should be changed. People most affected by rules are often the ones that want them changed. They won't be.

Again, the ban is permanent. Further discussion on making VAC bans temporary is pointless here, and has been done many, many times in previous threads. No point in having yet another one. Feel free to use the search feature and see for yourself, please.

If you are not aware, after 7 years, the ban's red text is not visible to anyone else. Only you. The ban is still permanent of course, but we cannot see the red text on your profile. Thanks.

I also suggest that you reformat your hard drive to remove the cheats completely.
