Almost at my 4,000 day VAC ban anniversary <3
I started a new Steam account back in 2007 and rarely ever log into this account. I have tried contacting Steam support and they were not much help even with something that happened 10 years ago (people change and grow in that time obviously), so just wanted to log in and say hello to anyone else having issues with this.

Hope everyone is having a great new year for 2019!

The only thing I wish I could transfer is my 14 year account badge from having a profile from 2004 over to my current Steam account, but I doubt this is something that the folks at Steam would consider doing. It is literally the only thing I care about on this account anymore since I have re-purchased any games I previously had a long time ago.

All VAC bans are permanent, even if you do change as a person. And no the badge will not be moved either. Good luck!

Oh yeah, I know.

Have to love Valve/Steam, not much help with anything but willing to take 30 percent of every transaction.

Not looking to play on this account anymore anyway since I have over 700 games on my regular Steam account but thought it was interesting I am reaching close to the 4,000 day mark of a Permanent forever VAC BAN. All you get when clicking on 'info' still all these years later is a link to this forum..

Until the day that Epic Store takes over the world when they add User Reviews and a good user experience. I feel like with the advent and popularity of Fortnite with the younger generation that is where kids will end up buying their games one day when things aren't bad for the consumer on their game store. Just happy it's good for game developers in that they make more money per transaction over there.

Epic Store sells your data to Epic's partners, so yeah i hope epic store dies.

If you were not aware, then VAC bans that are 7 years old or older only appear as visible to the account user. No one else can see the red text. There are still ways to check that though, but not everyone knows how or thinks to do so always, possibly.

they use to remove vac bans after 1 year but then they saw people didnt change and just went to hacking again on the same account so they made it permanent

Found this on your profile of this account :

"10 years later and I'm still VAC banned.

I am not a fan of Valve or their draconian nazi policies so I will not continue to use this account or support Steam since 14 years later you can not be unbanned from VAC for something you did as a teenager in the infancy of Steam in 2006."

But you did make another account and have 600 games on that one, according to a comment on this profile :

"Still banned in 2019, using another profile under 'thefamouschrisa' if anyone wants to add me. I have over 600 games on that profile, the only thing I don't have there is Half-Life 1 (because I refuse to buy it again) and 14 years of Service badge since I had to create a new account."

So in fact, if that is true, you have been supporting them more than I have and apparetly continue to do so.

Just an observation. And it's a bit strange, all the comments about "still banned after X years later" as the account will always be VAC banned. Permanent. It was not removed because it was not incorrectly applied.

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

If a VAC ban is determined to have been issued incorrectly, it will automatically be removed.

I personal wish so hard, that the vacban you got there for cheating, would disallow you to play at all on steam servers or any of the games online that steam represents !

But lucky for you, that you are allowed to ruin the gameplay for so many other people still !

It might just be the stupidity or some kind of forgetness from Valve´s side that they allow you to be here at all among other players, well known that you are a cheater ! :steamfacepalm:
