AVG Real-time scan=VAC?

Well, i just saw my AVG had real-time scan ON since a year. I saw .dll and .exe file scans were enabled. I'm so worried right now, becouse i know VAC will detect it as a cheat in 90%. Can i get VAC for it?

Are you sure? I heard ingame .dll or .exe openning/scanning will trigger VAC.

Opening and/or scanning files along will not trigger VAC bans.

You can basically scan your entire PC while playing on a VAC secured server and the only thing that might happen is, you get an VAC error saying some files can not be verified or something on your PC is interfering with VAC and kicks you from the VAC secured server.

At the very most, AVG realtime scan locking a required file during play when connected to a secure server will result in a kick from the game for VAC being blocked.

It sound like you are confusing a VAC ban with a VAC authentication error, and if so, AVG CAN be related to that.

vac scans your computer for programs that injected and and modified the game,if you renamed your cheats to avg with polyloader and you get vac banned you will not get unbanned because polyloader uses a randomcase spam to protect the cheats code from getting detected by vac,avg does not interact with the games cores only in some cases it may block vac or effect vac cs go will not let you in mm- no harm

If a game .dll was detected as a virus; it gets removed and then you'd have to repair the integrity of the game files whilst fixing your anti-virus to accept the file.

VAC will only ban for known cheats or forbidden processes. Even programs/processes that interfere with VAC wont see a ban applied - you'll just wont be cleared to play on secure servers until this process is stopped. Some anti-virus, firewall and other programs may get detected by VAC but only if its a recognised cheat and/or it targets the modification of core files attributed to games will a ban be likely.

I could create a dummy program and call it CSGOCHEAT and then run it whilst connected to a secure server in CSGO but not even that woud get detected as a legitimate cheat.
