VAC was unable to verify game session - CSGO

I've seen all the suggested fixes (i've sunk the entire day trying to fix this) but had no luck. I logged on to CSGO with my friends account (on my computer) and it worked fine. My account isn't banned, so what could be going on?

This message up here has been constantly sent as I quene up for a match. And the funny thing is I barely play the game and I don't use cheats. I'm not sure what the problem is but it kinda sucks because I don't hack :/

The good news is that's not a ban.

It means VAC isn't working for whatever reason, and it needs to be fixed before you can play online.

If you check the stickied thread at the top of this section of the forum, you should find "vac authentication error". Read up on it and try the suggestions.

Well the thing is I have none of the programs on and running, and I did everything else yet it shows the same thing. So I'm not sure what else to do.

There is a VERY long list of things to try doing. I seriously doubt you have done them all in the 1 minute since we've said it...

Also - HAVE the programs installed, that right there is probably part of the problem. If they exist, they're likely to be causing trouble. remove problematic things.

You have no VAC bans showing. Read the message you get before assuming. If it states VAC can't verify your session, then you have a VAC ERROR. In that case, we have an article for that:
