I got banned on my main account , why is this account not banned ?

Bans are applied to all accounts "at the time of infraction" and NOT after.

That's why.

VAC bans are delayed.
Possibly the system was triggered before you registered the number.

Nothing happens to the number now. You can use it again, on any account. As the good 999999999 said above, it only matters what accounts are sharing that number at the time of the cheating infraction.

There was once a cooldown of 3 months, on readding the same number after that number was involved in a ban, but they removed that text from the support pages where that was found.

If you can add the number again to an account, you can use that number.

AS LONG AS there is no new cheating infraction.

VAC still detecting cheats on the computer that was originally involved in the first account's ban would be a new cheating infraction.

And then, that number would be involved all over again.

So you better be sure no cheats will be detected on any computer where your account(s) will be used.
