My steam account was hacked and VAC banned
Hello there, one week ago I've got hacked on my personal e-mail and with that, a hacker took my email and my steam account, and as it looks like, he played and cheated in CS:GO.
Today I successfully got my steam account back with the help from steam support.
So I want to ask, if there is any possibility to get unbaned on CS:GO when there is a proof that my account was hacked.(even on steam support they told me that it is obvious that I got hacked).
TL;DR Steam account was hacked and VAC banned, is there a way to unban my account?

No. Your account's security is your responsibility. Moreover, there is only a game ban applied to the account.

I wasn't using my account when I received a VAC ban. Can it be removed?
No. Regardless of who was using the account at the time, VAC bans are permanent and will not be removed.

While we understand this can be frustrating, we must maintain a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that all players will enjoy.
Edit: This is assuming a VAC ban will appear soon.

Well, It's not my fault that someone from Russia hacked my email and with that my steam account as well.
If I was the player who used cheats and get banned, I woudn't complain about this, but the account got banned when it was hacked. If it is true that it cannot be unbanned, then Im pissed af

Your account was not hacked but compromised because you caused it to happen.

Steam offers multiple security "layers" for your account, including the Mobile Authenticator. They are listed here.

You mean to tell me that support helped retrieve your account, but you didn't bother to ask about the vac ban? Orrrrrr, maybe they already told you no and you are trying to somehow bypass by asking here? Orrrrrrr maybe your account was never hacked?

Click the "info" button next to the red text on your profile.

The matter of the account becoming compromised is clearly covered there, without the need to post a thread about it at all.

It's a game ban anyway, not a VAC ban.

Unless you are talking about a new ban that we cannot yet see. Which as of now, is not a VAC ban.

Just to wrap this up, I'll go ahead and post the relevant bit from the SSA.

http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/

"You may not reveal, share or otherwise allow others to use your password or Account except as otherwise specifically authorized by Valve. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login and password and for the security of your computer system. Valve is not responsible for the use of your password and Account or for all of the communication and activity on Steam that results from use of your login name and password by you, by any person to whom you may have intentionally or by negligence disclosed your login and/or password in violation of this confidentiality provision."

Basically, as the mantra goes: your account is your responsibility. So unless Valve accidentally gave access to your account to someone other than yourself, this incident is entirely on you. You slipped up somewhere.
