Is the game VAC protected? If not, then no. If it is VAC protected then there is a risk.

Just don't use any kind of cheat on a VAC secured game and you'll won't get VAC'd :PinkContent:

Thirdparty software - yes. Mouse drivers/engines - small risk. I think.

Mouse and Video Card drivers won't cause a VAC ban.

Autoclickers are fully external, and there are no games whatsoever that ban you for using one.

I’ve never seen anyone get banned for an auto clicker ever. Also most single player games don’t have vac, because why would they? Vac is mostly used to keep cheaters out of multiplayer games. (Even know it’s pretty terrible at it)
I Agree. Auto clickers are safe to use. There are macros that players tend to use in multiplayer games, and those are not vac banned. If the admin of the server notices you using it, they may remove you from server perm or temp.

You two do realize that auto clickers and macros are bannable by Overwatch, right.

Yet, the title of this thread doesn't mention anything about game bans or Overwatch...

just saying.

Define "autoclicker" as in what type of file it is ?

Is it a script ? Did you write the code of that "autoclicker" yourself ? Then you have no idea what it may do, or what "else" it may do :

Use caution when installing any game modifications like scripts or custom skins, and only download custom content from trusted sources. Hackers may maliciously disguise their cheats to cause others to get banned.

And as the good CC mentioned above, if not VAC, maybe still by Overwatch in the respective game.

And how would you know ? Valve does not even release the exact cheat that was detected to the user of the account, that results in a VAC ban.

And VAC bans are delayed. VAC does not ban accounts instantly upon cheat detection.

True, they weren't mentioned, but I mentioned it because people who make these types of threads don't tend to think about other scenarios and think they're protected all the way around, regardless.

Why tf would anyone possibly use an autoclicker for CS:GO?

To make a semi automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon getting a firerate that exceeds the normal boundaries. You know, to get an unfair advantage over other players.
