You injected a cheat, and wonder why you got banned?

If the game is Vac protected, *every server* is enabled for it. The only time it's not is if you add the -insecure search and use one that other cheaters can play on.

If you got BOTH an Overwatch conviction AND a vac ban, YOU CHEATED no doubt in any way shape or form.

Duh.

This has zero to do with the VAC ban. Totally different issue.

Valve will not disclose the exact cheat that was detected, and VAC bans are delayed in application. So it really makes no difference "WHEN" the ban was applied. It was delayed.

Also, Cheat Engine will not cause a VAC ban unless you actually inject into the game to................cheat.

Simply left open and running in the background causes a VAC error instead, not a ban.

"What typically causes this error?"

There are a number of common software conflicts that can cause this error. If you are running any of the following software, please disable it while playing:

CCleaner
Powershell
Sandboxie
Cheat Engine <----------------------------------------
IObit Start Menu 8
Process Hacker
DLL Injectors
Hypervisors
Steam Idlers

the problem is that i never cheated on official matchmaking only on community server without vac protection and i didnt got an overwatch

It detected the cheat in use at some point BEFORE you played on that supposedly unprotected server.

If you see Overwatch in the game menu view, but now have a VAC ban on your Steam profile, that means that two, totally independent, and separate anticheat systems caught your account cheating.

Overwatch is a different system than VAC. Each has zero to do with the other.

Playing on HvH servers will not get you banned, ****only the anticheat will, if it isn't disabled.****. I know this isn't a really good topic to discuss here, but most HvH servers have VAC disabled by default to prevent players from getting banned while playing ingame. An extra feature you can use is -insecure in your CS:GO launch settings, which will disable VAC entirely on startup, which means you will be able to play on servers with the anticheat disabled.
