Ban = Locked inventory for the game.
Steam does not have an appeal system
No one here can remove your ban

Please read the PINNED threads at the top of the forum.

VAC does not care about in game performance.

You can't refund a game your banned in and your items for said game are locked to your account.

Please read and understand the pinned thread and the linked articles in it.

Well yeah, I get they don't care about ingame bans but I woke up in the morning and I'm VAC banned.

No you don't understand, VAC is an automated system. It has nothing to do with overwatch. It detects known cheat signatures running in game memory or game files.

Please read and understand the pinned thread I linked you.
i habe a ban for nothing

I did read it, I know overwatch bans aren't vac bans but when I woke up in the morning after the night I received the overwatch ban I had a vac ban.

Then you have been caught by two totally seperate anticheats systems.
Jim Thirwell Nov 28, 2016 @ 12:51pm
Then you have let some one else use your account

To get the overwatch ban in the 1st place a heap of people had to report you .

Then a heap of other people who seperatly and inderpendent of each other watched your games and decided by a overwhelming majority decided you were cheating .

How unlikley is all those people got it wrong?

The vac ban is when vac scanned your game files and found known cheats .

Crosshair changer sounds like something VAC would detect, but Overwatch would not. Not really sure why you're trying to explain anything here. You were caught by two different anti-cheat methods, which are looking at completely different things. Nobody here can do anything anyway.

huh

the real question most players ant to know is what drove you to start cheating ?

why did you think it would end well ?

anyone can buy cheats and "dominate"
you took the easy road in a video game

i cant imagine how lazy you are in real life if you cant even play a video game without assistance LOL

your parents did a REALLY good job raising you

Better be sure your system is totally cleaned of that or those cheats, if that was the cause. Otherwise, that new account will just get VAC banned also.

The only way we can suggest that is done correctly, as we don't know what you did and only you do, is a full format and reinstall of the operating system before playing on VAC servers with anymore accounts on that computer.

Lolno, I'm not restoring my PC to factory default, that's not necessary, I'll just use a program to completely uninstall them.

That risks you getting a ban on your next account.

The only way to be sure is to format your computer and re-install your OS or a factory reset if your computer has that option.

If that is supposed to be something like "LOL", then LOL right back at you...

To prevent additional bans on your account, please remove all cheats from your computer before playing on VAC secured servers. If you do not know how or where the cheats were installed, you may want to consider reformatting your hard drive(s) and starting over with a fresh installation of your operating system.

Official info from the pinned thread...you should read it.
