RInput and SourceGL VAC?
Hello. I am currently planning on using Rinput and SourcGL with CSGO. Raw input causes too much input lag, and I just dont like having to deal with windows accel from Raw input off. I use Rinput to reduce both of these. SourceGL simply allows me to use Rinput in CSGO.

Before people convince me that Rinput is not needed, I would just like to say that It feels a lot more responsive than Raw input, and more precise than Raw input off. I have used Mark C mouse fix and EPP off and all of those things as well, so i dont need a reminder on that either.

I tried this setting in a single player game, and it felt amazing. One question that I still havent managed to get answered however is if it will trigger a VAC ban online, and if it does, would I be able to prove to valve that it was a mistake on their part? I have searched everywhere and have not been able to find a solid answer. I realize that there is no real way of telling it is VAC safe, but if maybe there are some experienced people that use both of these programs, they could reassure me that it has worked for them for quite some time. I am also open to suggestions on how to get Rinput to work in ways other than using SourceGL, because I read somewhere that SourceGL can get people VAC banned. However, A step by step process of using Rinput would also be helpful. Where I put Rinput, where exactly I download it from, how to make sure it is working, ETC, right down to the last detail. I have looked for more specific guides, but I simply can't seem to find them.

I also was wondering if there are any CSGO pros that still use RInput to this day.
Anyone able to help is more than welcome to do so ;)

If you used it in singleplayer but did not have steam in singleplayer you could wait maybe a week or so. If you're not banned by then it could mean that it's safe. I know I got VACed for using actual hacks against bots in SP
I don't play CSGO but what I can tell you is that people come to this forum all the time with VAC bans after playing "offline with bots". As I understand it, all CSGO games are VAC secured by default unless you use the -insecure flag. So to cut a long story short, I think you may have already been testing this yourself without realising.
i geuss im puting all my skins on opskins until i figure out its safe

This is kinda funny...

Taking chances on a third party site where accounts have been compromised and users have been scammed but asking about if this will cause a VAC ban for you on Steam. :steamfacepalm:
I actually ended up sending them to a friend ;p
But yea it is kind of ironic
