Banned on Conan Exiles
Hello,

I was referred to BattleEye to contact for an issue this last Saturday, on 3/18/2017. I logged into my steam and received the following message:

"Account Alert for XXXXXXXXX - Mar 18, 2017
You have been banned in Conan Exiles by the game's developers.


This ban is permanent.
As a result of this ban, you'll no longer be able to play in VAC secured servers within this game.

I have had this account i have had since 2004. I currently have my own Conan Exiles server (69.162.92.170:27038) (Name: Banished - 2xEXP PVP/PVE/RP - MODS). Through the week of 3-13 to 3-17, I connected to my server for well under 15 minutes per night and maybe an hour AFK on 3-16 or 3-17. As this game is currently in early access and does not have very many features at this point. I simply join my server to see if anyone is on (which there never is - because i'm unpopular) and I check out the newest mods that I think would be ideal for my server. During my off time I play games such as State of Decay, Life is Feudal - Forest Village and many others that are single player. For these single player games I have run the single player cheat trainers that you can download from sites like MegaGames. These cheat trainer were never used for Conan Exiles. Especially when I am an admin on my own server. The only plausible reason i can think of for being banned is because while playing Life is Feudal forest village I may have logged onto my conan exiles server to see if there were users on the server or to test a mod. And I didn't know that a trainer like "LIFE.IS.FEUDAL.FV.V20170312.PLUS8TRN.FLING" used in a singleplayer game would flag me on a completely different game. If i had both games running at the same time.

I can provide further detail if necessary or conan exiles server logs, my other single player game logs information or PC information as well.

Please let me know how I can resolve this,

I had opened a ticket with FunCom as directed - only to be told to open a ticket with VAC support and BattleEye, I have opened a ticket with BattleEye, but there seems to be no option to do this for VAC, unless this request can be moved to the correct VAC support group.

I don't understand why they would send you here, the account clearly has a GAME ban.

I totaly agree, however I can only assume it is because the link to this forum is at the bottom of the support page on game bans.

Valve should maybe consider removing that, perhaps.

EDIT..In my opinion, it promotes confusion, and we know that there is quite enough of that already. :steamhappy:
