VAC auth error(fomerly:VAC IS A SILLY SYSTEM!!!)
So i have created a steam account 2 weeks ago just to play CS:GO with friends and honestly my first 10 games were just perfect then i got level 3 and played competition and my first 6-8 games were perfect no problem there.

But then 1 game i got kicked out from a game because of VAC system saying i use third-party program or i change game files or steam files etc etc.. i got 30minutes ban, at first i didnt understood well

I waited the 30minutes, i restarted my computer, i went to play another game the day after, i got banned again at the round 14 or so but this time for 2hours ( for the same reasons )

Then i went on the Steam support site direction ( https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ILZV-2837#software ) I tried some suggestion to that issue, i tried going on CS:GO proprieties and validating my cache it always worked 100% no problem there, i restarted my computer again.

Then the game after, sameeee thing happen ( for the same reasons ) but this time 24 hours ban. i got pretty mad, but this time i tried the most things i could, i tried reparing my Steam service, i tried again validating my CS:GO game cache, restarted my computer, deleted CCLEANER, Desactivating my anti-virus.

i want to precise i dont have any of these or im sure to never have downloaded any of these:
-CCleaner
-Powershell
-Sandboxie
-Cheat Engine
-IObit Start Menu 8
-Process Hacker
-DLL Injectors
-Hypervisors
-Steam Idlers

and i only have steam for 2 weeks now and i only have 2 games which only 1 can be played online (CS:GO) the other game is named ( timeclickers) and its an offline game there is no way i hacked this, i played it only a few times. so considering i have Steam for that few laps of times idk how i would need to repair system files??

Then after all of these things i tried to play again, and at the exact round 7 i got Banned again ( for the same reasons ) but this time 7 days, im pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now. i am thinking to refund the game because its impossible to play this and now i have to wait 7 days until i can play again and the way VAC is treating me i will probably get ban again and this time who know maybe 1 month ban?? for what? nothing!.

If there is anything i can do to solve this thing please tell me! because steam VAC support suggestions didnt helped me so far and i know a lot of people suffered from this VAC system for no reason.

P.S sorry for my english, im french.

Go to the startup tab. Take screenshots of all that you see there.

Then, go to the services tab. Check the box "hide all Microsoft services" and then take shots of all that is left there.

If you see anything about skype or utorrent, forget about it i will uninstall and reboot when it will be the time to test out.
I suggest contacting steam support at this point, unfortunately the VAC auth error doesn't give you any helpful or relevant information about what process or what on your system is causing the error

Here is the link.
Ok, now this is important. You need to expand the list under "driver" and make sure all of those devices in your computer are fully up to date by having the latest drivers from that list.

You cannot just download and install all of them. You need to know what devices you have in your computer.

For example, under Bluetooth, you see several device models. You have to get the driver for what model you have in your computer.

You should be able to identify the exact device from device manager under Windows. That should tell you the exact manufacturer of each device in your computer.

If you have never done this, you need to. This can take a while for you to be sure of. So take your time if needed.

The bcedit commands being as you reported above needs to be addressed. Then, you should uninstall uTorrent and Skype, and possibly Intel Security Assistant also, and then reboot.

Then, we will also look at the services and startup shots I requested above.

Troubleshooting this error can take time and many steps sometimes. Hopefully, you understand this. Thanks.

I want to thank you for everything you do for me, even if you give me a load of work hahaha. but i appreciate it. Right now i am updating all my drivers, when it will be done i will tell you.
Startup

I have my concerns bout that Avira System Speedup. I would look at the settings for Avira and disable that when you playtest the game. That is up to you, though. You should not need that process anyway.

Spotify Webhelper. You don't need this while playing CSGO. I suggest you make sure it is not launching when you start your computer. You should consider disabling that.

Services

I asked you before about that "Driver Support" from PC Drivers Headquarters. If that is a third party site and you don't have hardware related to that site, then you should NOT be getting drivers from there.

Why do you have that installed ?

Dashlane Upgrade Service

These types of manager and updater services can sometimes be a problem. They are not needed when you are gaming, and sometimes depending on why you have the parent program installed, they are not needed at all.

Google Update Service

Google does not need to be updated when you game. Besides, it or a similar process is on the linked list. (Google Toolbar, Google Updater)

Intel Security Assistant

You have several processes that are children of the parent program, it seems. (all McAfee related)
This is McAfee crapware, and I suggest you consider getting rid of it.

https://service.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/cp/home/mvt;jsessionid=r2WTV9F0BXLY6d6PF-R7_Ig9HJ-JO5YS_QRZuxtbft_MRZ-3tZMz!-920849214!-999656206?_afrLoop=2443744034289979#!%40%40%3F_afrLoop%3D2443744034289979%26centerWidth%3D100%2525%26leftWidth%3D0%2525%26rightWidth%3D0%2525%26showFooter%3Dfalse%26showHeader%3Dfalse%26_adf.ctrl-state%3D11u16x02l3_4

That junk has been seen to be a problem for other users in the forums. McAfee. I would uninstall all of them. (Intel Security True Key) They are probably all children of Intel Security Assistant. Uninstalling that can take special steps from the McAfee website, but should also take care of all the child processes.

Wondershare

What is this for ? It is another updater/service manager process.

thank you for the advice, but '' The Giving One'' seems to know pretty well what he is doing and i will follow his instructions, if at the end after testing it out it didnt worked i will try and contact steam support. But yet, community is always been known as a greater helper than the support themselves and that for any games and forum haha.
Let's be clear about the bcedit commands also, please.

You first said this about the commands, after correctly entering the foruth one...

"and for the bcdedit this is what it gave to me as result ( for the first 3 ) it says (An error occurred while attempting to change the parameters) "

Are you SURE this is not what you saw additionally or instead ?

"The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted."

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ilzv-2837

Because if that is what you saw instead or in addition to what you posted, they are set to default and you need not be concerned with them anymore.
First of, my computer drivers are all updated, i am sure of it at 100% ( i had MULTIPLE drivers that were out of date ) so thank you to have remind me about that.

Second, in the service tab i disabled:
Driver Support
Dashlane Upgrade Service
Google Update Service
Intel Security Assistant (MCafee) there were 3 of them, and i went on your link and did what asked.
Wondershare

Third, you said earlier at the very beginning about maybe my connection ( and steam says it ) but here is to show you that my connection is pretty good to play the game

http://imgur.com/rV40qXk

Fourth, i just tried again the bcdedit thing again ( after updating all driver device ) and same thing happened, it says for all 4 of them ( An error occurred while attempting to change the parameters )

so considering that i guess the problem is in the BCDEDIT.

Excellent reply. As far as the Intel Security Assistant, you should be sure that is all gone after you have rebooted. It may take special steps to fully remove that software. If you did that already, then ignore my comment here.

As for the bcedit commands, I mentioned that in my last reply above. Are you SURE that you do not also see "The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted." ?

Is what you posted ( An error occurred while attempting to change the parameters ) the ONLY thing you see in the command prompt after running all of the commands ?
Oh i sorry i really misread that, so yes, it also says ( The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted. )

Yes all is gone still.

Thanks. It was important to verify that. Because that is what it SHOULD say...

"The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted."

Always post the full message, please, as you can see it is important to do so for proper communication. Thanks.

Now understand this...

You have covered quite a lot here and done very well. But you still have some processes and/or software that "could" be a problem.

But what you did were big steps and very important. I would suggest this.

Look over all that we have discussed here again. Make sure you covered everything.

Use ethernet only when you go to playtest the game again. Sadly, you will have to allow your cooldowns to reset to tier zero now though. There is nothing we can do about that.

But if you do get the error again, DO NOT make your cooldowns go up as was done before. Keep your cooldown always at a tier 1 or tier zero and then you can easily playtest any changes you make to troubleshoot this error.

Then, if you get the error again, come back here and we will continue trying to help you if you wish. That is my suggestion.

Remember, you can fix this if it has not as of now been fixed. We can help you if you need more help. You have done well, and followed all our suggestions and it is most appreciated.
Well thanks to you for everything that is some huge help i got there, i will study about the cooldown tier to keep it at tier 1 or 0 after my 7 days ban, i've done a lot of changed for the best.

I'd like to know if i go and play CS:GO, can i test if all i've done worked? i mean can i get a VAC error in a normal game? And if so do i get cooldowns even in normal games?

Coming down from a tier 4 or higher, if stacking, (7 days) can take you quite a while. You have to allow for each tier in all. See the guide I posted earlier, please.

You need to allow your coodowns to reset to tier zero really. That is my suggestion. The guide explains it much better and in more detail than I can here.

What you did were some big steps, and I hope it did fix your problem. But if you do need more help, we will help you agian if you wish. Troubleshooting this error can sometimes be easy, or it can be challenging.

The more software and processes you have running when you play, the higher chance there is of something conflicting. Not all that runs conflicts. The list for example is only a list of programs that "may" conflict. Some there may not conflict anymore, as that list is old.

But all possibilities have to be considered, as you can see I am sure.
Thank you very much for everything, i will give a feedback as soon as im back to cooldown tier 1 and that i tested out the game again. thank you never had that much help when needed it!

You are welcome. Read back over the thread, read that cooldown guide, and good luck to you. Hopefull, you will not have the error again.

Non competitive games don't give you cool downs and are not effected by them either
