I'd just enjoy the fact a large number of cheaters have been banned.
Valve often does things quietly and quickly without warning.
As to how people know what the new anti-cheat mechanics I'm not to sure.

For someone with a 9 year old account and 2300+ hours on CSGO, you should know that CSGO has 3 types of anti-cheats to include VAC, Overwatch and a third developer anti-cheat.
pro player. look him up.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lol, I dunno. I just thought it was common knowledge that CSGO had its own anti-cheat in addition to VAC and Overwatch. I mean, no biggie if you don't know. If you don't cheat, then it's not really something you need to worry about.
