Big Picture on Android
I would love to have Big Picture on Android. I have a gaming console built on my own which would be perfect for it

But the games need to be made for android... just because a game is low in graphics don't make it able to play on Android as it.... the game Dev must the game for it like if he made one for windows you cant run it (always) on mac or linux

i have a generic china tablet customized as gaming pad without touch and better LCD screen but yea the problem is i can't find a linux distribution configured for this motherboard. I've only a crappy android rom but the problem is, it has too much features for an only gaming distribution and needs also the touch functions which aren't possible now x.x

well don't think you can really do it.. sorry....
But can you give the name of the model of the tablet?

i don't know it xD all i know is that the mobo is called BC1003 and it has an Allwinner A10 CPU on it with 1 GB RAM so, should work fine with PS One, N64 and other Emulators i only want to test steam games on it with lower graphics. But yea, first i should get another Linux Distrib. working instead of that crappy resourceeater android

Built on your own huh.... For some reason I seriously doubt this.

Anyway, Big Picture Mode on android sounds great. Getting a free distro of the Nvidia Shield version would be great. It would make Android Steamboxes a truly viable option!

I'm not saying to play the games running on the android box, but streaming from my gaming rig that is in the office would be cool.

it's not build on my own, only customized as a bigger handheld, caus i thought the OpenPandora is a bit expensive for it's low hardware so i could build my own handheld... but the Problem now is, i'm to lazy to set up a right distribution x.x
