The Steam Mobile Authenticator is mainly an extra security step to help protect your account.
It is not designed to play games.
By future revision, I mean a proper update and not small bugfixes on a base ancient enough that Chat was made separate... although I see no point using it as 2FA is an open standard and there is no reason not to make confirmations normally accessible via the desktop client.
When I launch Steam Mobile (Android) and go to Library, as of today around 820pm PST my Library isnt showing the longest playtime game up top, its now 3rd on the list. It goes something like 210, then .7 then 1hr then 300hours
Also on my Mobile under Library it says "1 Item paused"; so I come to this Steam Client on my Desktop PC, I dont see any game on pause. The game in question says "Play Now" So I exited Steam Client/Desktop and relaunched; same thing.
What I did notice though, is next to the Play Button for Fallout 4 theres an arrow, a down arrow. So when I click the down arrow it says Play PC/Play Mobile
HUH?!!! Play on Mobile? Fallout 4 on my Mobile device is what up top @ 210hours; whereas American Truck Simulator is at 300hours (#3), and Fallout 4 shows it being paused?
So i am a bit confused. I also want to use my Desktop PC Steam Client and see how many other games has a down arrow and says "Play Mobile"....then I'm gonna click it LOL
Yeah found some info..."SteamLink" I just cant figure out how that works. Oh well
