They should give every 10 year Steam veteran a gold watch, doesn't mean they will.
Be thankful of it.
I would like to see a mosaic of all 10 year Steam Users, interesting web infographics of what was going on in this Steam decade, a timeline or something in that style. Ofcourse a little treat for users wouldn't hurt anyone.
Hell I have been working the same job for 20 years (on Sept 20th) and you know what "gift" i get...a paycheck every two weeks, so in essence, nothing.
No way, you'll get anything for using steams free client for 10 years.
Back to topic.
These schemes, like rewarding long time customers and big spenders serve the purpose of customer fidelization.
They're meant to be incentives to stop people to going elsewhere... But where are you going to go? Origin? Uplay?...
Even people who buys out of the store ends up back to steam to activate an play those games bought elsewhere.
At least something, better than nothing ;) I'd be okay with everything.
Ow, cuts deep son.
This is emabaresing, A years of service badge with 10 on it?
