1) Don't just turn the whole thing into some kind of dumb (possibly heavily sexual) convesation
2) Remember the charactrs defined by the original are not just 2D cardboard cutouts. They should have more depth than just whatever they say or do
3) Don't just rely on tropes and clichés or your own personal desires. Write in the context of the existing world that has been generated
