Looking for an old 2d rpg that does coop over internet.

Hello everyone

I'm trying to find an rpg to play with a friend online. It has to have low hardware requirements since he uses a thinkpad that's not really geared towards graphics. So something like the old fallout or d&d games,....any tips?

Those are the only two I can think of with low requirements.

Unfortunely, most 2d/low requirements RPS that have multiplayer are MMO based.

I think the first one has a f2p model as well as a pay model. That way you can try it before hand.

If you are interested in UO, send me a message. It is a good game, but hard compared to the typical no brainer ones out now.

Ultima looks nice, but I forgot to mention I'd also rather have closed server kind of games. To really have a campaign thing going on. Found baldurs gate as a possible candidate.
