Steam Autumn Sale Speculation

Since it is about to be October, I decided to make a speculation thread about the Steam Autumn Sale or other sales that may be close. We should be about a month and a half away from the Autumn sale since it usually starts mid-November. The Halloween sale should be the closest sale now, however those are only horror games usually. I think the Autumn Sale will start on Wednesday, November 20th. In 2012 the sale started on November 21st (A Wednesday) and in 2011 it started on the 23rd (Also a Wednesday). So what games do you hope to see on sale? When do you think it'll start? Also, what about the Halloween sale?

-Why make a thread for this? Just some entertaining speculation to pass the time.

It does seem likely that it will be on a wednesday but I am hoping to just pick up some of the newer games for cheap, cmon civ5 expansion sale! :D

i'm really hoping for payday 2 to go onsale!!! or gta v or any recent blockbuster games, things i dont have money for. god, would i love to see GTA V go like 75% off or something

I know its usually games that go on sale, but I would really like to see a sale on GameMaker: Studio, I would really like to pick up a full version but right now I don't have the £60 to purchase it. Games wise, I would probably say I'd like a larger sale on something like Deadpool or perhaps Dysfunctional Systems at 33% or more off.

I have spent £38 in 5 months and have 21 games in my collection and only 5 are free to play so i have to admit it seems sale time 24/7 on steam coming from xbox.
I have £30 ready for the winter sale and im hoping for payday2 moto gp2013 duck tales and turtles batman new one for £20 would be great.

Haha had to check my wishlist and there is nearly 50 games i fancy so im going to either have to extend my £30 limit or miss out on some great offers. Its easy on xbox pay 40 finish a game trade it in on the next. Pc i have loads and have not enough hours in the day. I have alan wake,batman arkham city and fallout new veges hardly touched.

I see no reason to speculate that there'll be an Autumn sale because this does not fit with any pattern, and there's no reason to show that this is changing; it's been Winter Sale and Summer Sale for some years now.

That said, anything could change tomorrow, and I support it - any excuse for more sales is alright with me. I never buy games anywhere near release.

No not at all. If someone has never existed before, there is no more reason to speculate it is to exist.

It is not "on a bit of a pattern". The evidence is clear: Summer Sale, Winter Sale, which has stayed the same for years.

However, I reiterate that ANYTHING can happen. All I'm saying is that basing it on such previous experience is wrong.
