Best RPG game for $10 or less?

So, I'm looking to find a good RPG (preferably multiplayer) to buy on Steam. Right now I'm looking at a few things:

GTA III
Hitman
GTA IV (It's 14.99, but it's the only game I'd be willing to pay extra for at the moment)

Keep in mind that it doesn't HAVE to be multiplayer, but my friend has $10 to spend on a game and it would be nice if we could play one together. I actually have $11.42, but knowing that it makes no difference, I didn't include it at first. Here are some games that I already have so people can see what I like, and the stuff I already have:

Saints Row 3 (somewhat laggy, anything higher performance than this wouldn't be too good)
GTA Vice City
Fallout 3
Garry's Mod

This is all that comes to mind at the moment, but you can look at my profile if you need to.

Magicka is indie game and is hard game.
The Witcher series
Dungeon Siege series
The mass effect series
Torchlight 1 & 2 also good games
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

People give this game high rateing

Also i have mmo is Star wars online the old republic need just a 512 videocard.
Is a fp2 but have some stupid resiction if you pay 5 $ can be real fun.

With the current list of rpg's under 10$ and coop I'd recommend Magicka. Or if you want an even cheaper option go take a look at Path of Exile, free to play Diablo like game. It's also coming on steam on the 23rd, I think it was.

Also, although not an RPG, Warframe is a really fun game to play coop. Also free.

The entire Borderlands series is on sale at gamersgate. Borderlands:Game of the year edition is $7.49 and Borderlands 2 (STD) is $10.19.

The Borderlands series seems to be what your looking for.

Just so you know every game you mentioned except for Fallout 3 are action/adventure (and/or) stealth games not RPG's. Even Fallout 3 is an action/RPG not an RPG true. GTA is an open world action/adventure game and Hitman is considered an action/adventure/stealth game.

GTA and hitman games are not really RPG's. That can confuse some people. They might sound like RPG's by definiton but most people don't see them as such.
