Been lost looking for game, and I Finally found what kind I want to play, need help find a really good one. Anime RPG game, Be it MMO or Single Player.

Hello all, and thanks for taking the time to read and help me out!!!!

Anyways, I have been moving from game to game, playing for a few hours then moving a new one. Because just has scratch that fun itch or interested. But, I looked at some Anime style game (very long list, but will name a few), Tower of Fantasy, ZZZ (Zenless), Star Rails, Persona's, Etc, etc , etc. What I am wanting to know, What would you recommend? I don't mind buy the game, And, in game stored don't bother me if they are not forced or the only way to move forward. I don't mind the grind and taking time if the story is engaging. Just want to have fun, and get lost in it and escape reality for awhile.

questions out of all the Anima style MMOs, like ZZZ, HSR, ToF, GI etc what the best ones? Also I have Persona 3 Reload, 4 Golden and 4 Royal. Also have Gandblue relink

None of them are MMO, in the truest sense.

The closest would be ToF since they have a hub where you can meet other people (not a lot though, hence small-scale MMO).

ToF is kinda dead game now, altho it's players won't like to be called that. I heard they are going to do a re-debut of the server or something months ago, no idea how are they doing now. The combat is fine, game mode is a bit grindy. The game is severely paid to win, meta changes so fast.

GI multiplayer is like dark souls where you can go to someone's world (maximum 4 players). ZZZ has co-op play. Meanwhile, HSR has no multiplayer at all.

I played genshin for about a year or two. I'm retired now, but it has been a pleasant experience. The story didn't interest me one bit, I'm more into the gameplay.

If I have to choose one to promote to you, try HSR. ZZZ is also ok tbh. I tried rerolling for a character that I wanted but it didn't work, so I dropped it.

So am I and I also very much a lover of story. I dont mind Pay shops in my game, just not pay to win or the only way your getting a head. I love the ones that give you the currency in game for doing quest etc, but maybe no all of it, just enough to keep you moving. or you can grind out the game

If you want an anime game, I would suggest something like Code Vein, the Ryza games, or if you got a beefy phone, the Zenless Zone Zero. If you want to play an MMO, just play the free trial of FF14.

Just be aware the second game is not like the first game. It does not have the pokemon catching mechanic like the first game.
