Indie Games?

Looking for indie games to get on my new PC but stuck for ideas. Anyone know any good ones. Tell me. I genuinly love indie games, there is really good ones out there

I'm generally into really interesting indie games. Not just generic games like COD 5,000 or FIFA 14,0000. If there different and fun, i'll likey like them (unless there stratagy games or MMOs, grrr)

i'd go with bastion, it's beautiful, cheap, you can get it in humble bundle and it was supposed to be indie (depending of your definition of "indie" i'm not sure i have the correct one)

I checked both out. They both look great. I will get the demo for Bastion later on tonight. thanks for suggesting those 2 indie games

Have a look at Psychonauts and the Witcher 1 too, they are not so indie but it's not some generic stuff like "hey here's a weapon, go disarm a nuclear bomb"
they are both at 2€ and they do worth every pennies you throw in them

Back to the more traditional "Indie": Bastion has been mentioned already. Take a look at "Dust: An Elysian Tail" as well. Take a look at Trine/Trine 2. Take a look at DeathSpank (although that's published by EA, so it might not qualify for you)... etc... etc... etc... Only listing games that I've already played.

Even titles like "Serious Sam" are tagged as "Indie" on Steam. I really have no idea what "Indie" means.

I've considerd Trine 2 before as it was a launch game on Wii U. Might pick it up, along with Bastion, looks great. Also, not really bother if the games are PUBLISHED by big compays, Only bothered about who the DEVELOPER is.

Some more games that I can give a comment on that's at least somewhat qualified:

Sine Mora looks nice, but is hard-as-hell so I'm not particulary far into the game... yet? Note that they have voice acting, but it's some weird alien language. Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken was rather interesting -- interesting style. Torchlight II may or may not be "Indie"; it's a dungeon-crawler similar to Diablo. Enclave is an older title that was recently released on Steam; I'll probably be getting the Majestic bundle just for that one so I have it on Steam too :-)

Definitely MacGuffin's Curse - amazing puzzler.
Definitely Mark of the Ninja - master fken piece stealth game.

Machinarium, The Longest Journey, Thomas Was Alone, Cave Story, Superbrothers, Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2, Psychonauts, Aquaria, and Bastion are all fantastic indie games

well if you consider the dev, you should have a look at double fine games, you can find great games!
Torchlight II is supposed to be indie as the first one was indie. the "problem" is that it was sooooo good that it "became" pretty much AAA with people comparing it to diablo III. if you like hack n slash you should get it because i've never seen any bad reviews about it.

I own Bit trip Runner 2 on Wii U. It's fantastic, but not going to buy it for PC too though.

Cave story looks great too. Almost forgot about that one.

I've not heard of the others though. I'll search them up later.
