Anyone please suggest a good driving game please

Right I was thinking trying out a driving game I am not say the biggest fan of the genre but would like to give then another any suggetions for the community out there please.

I have sonic and sega all star racing both of them but looking for something a bit more serious Driftopia looks good for a starter.

I honestly loved Need for Speed: HP... Not even sure if it is on steam or if people still play online battles, but it was a blast when I had it..

"Hot Pursuit" was on sale a short while back -- so yes, it's still sold on Steam.

If you looking for something more sim i'd recommend you any Simbin game (for example Race 07). But you'll need racing wheel with force feedback (Logitech Driving Force GT, G27 or something like that) in order to fully appreciate the driving model in this games.

Race 07 has been on a bundle recently, and when I looked at it -- well, it seemed OLD and looked boring. And that has nothing to do with it being a "sim" (those are boring by definition), it's just the old style driving game where the programmers were happy they could render a road, a cockpit, and some basic "green is grass and blue is water" environment.

It didn't last very long on the Store, it was ftp and heavily neg'd reviewed
I regret not keeping it in my Steam library as it's been gone for years

I don't think Steam Support could restore that game since it's non-existant on Steam 😸

I've got other games that have since been removed from Steam's Storefront, but I can still download all of them and play them. You can't even see it in your Library? That's odd.

My favorite is Driver: San Francisco, then NFS: Hot Pursuit. Excellent driving games. But, not only is DSF gone from Steam, it's gone pretty much from everywhere. Even the Developer / Publisher (Ubisoft) doesn't have it for sale anymore.

Need for speed Most wanted, (not the 2012 one, go for the older one!)
Best racing/open world game ever!
