Love Steam - A poem for Valve

I wrote a little poem for Valve. Here it is. In full.

Wether you had vision to distribute games when CS 1.6 was released,
And Steam was... well you know what it was - it was a beast.
Yet here we are after ten years have passed
with thousands of games we can get our paws on at last
a beautiful GUI, Big Picture and Community features,
groups, hubs, gifting, trading, bans for the cheaters,
but the Store is massive place full of wonder and joy.
And most of us don't mind if Steam's still Valves biggest toy.

No matter what we say Valve, we love Steam.
No matter what we say Valve, don't change Steam.

There's a lot of hate for the prices of software and games,
It seems the 75% discounts aren't deep enough for the big names.

Don't listen to greedy consumers Valve, the Sales are fine.
We're not all greedy consumers Valve, the prices are fine.

We know the dev's choose wether to put their games on sale or not,
I say we - I mean 'us' not the 'entitled' and owners of bots.

Recent changes are great Valve, Steam has come a long way.
Recent changes are fab Valve, I'd just like to say.

I think I can speak on behalf of most of your users
when I say thank you Valve - the wallet abusers.

Thank you Valve, Publishers and Developers for all the great games and events you guys have put on Steam over the years.

Sigh... Perhaps if you took a second before typing you'd realize I was joking that most people in the steam community aren't exactly avid poetry people and I was joking that even though it's simple some people would still be spoiled sports aboutit.

I'm not claiming I'm Shakespeare. I am however a fanboy. If we're unbearable why not go to the Origin, XBOX or PSN forums and complain about how bad these BBs are? I'm not even sure if Nintendo has forums anymore, but if they do it might be a good place to vent about us too.

God I hate Xmas.

A love poem to Valve:

Valve valve, what should I do,
Amazon sales are cheaper than you.

I sent you a letter and waited for a reply,
but your support network is just that one guy.

When I tried to call you, it ended in one of my fails,
As you still can't afford phones after all of these sales.

So I went to the forums to speak of you there,
but 30 second loadings were too much to bear.

I looked to my friends list for support and more,
But once again it was down like a $3 ♥♥♥♥♥.

I know, I know you don't allow returns,
Allowing that (like EA) is what no one yearns!

Oh damnit oh damnit my interwebs down!
Oh why was "offline mode" made by a clown!

Oh and Valve, oh Valve, I wish youd make new games,
but you just monetize free mods with famous names.
