Co-op (two people in one vehicle)

Are there any games where the co-op involved consists of two people in one vehicle? Maybe one person is the pilot and the other the gunner? My wife and I are interested in games like that and Google hasn't yielded many results.

We're looking for a game that's entirely PvE, has private co-op, LAN co-op, or local co-op. A good example might be Thunder Wolves, a game that has local co-op in the form of one player is the pilot and the other player controls the guns.

Oh, and for reference, we're not interested in an online multiplayer experience like Battlefield 4. Also, we've already played Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 4, so please don't suggest those either.

Biggest recommendation would be Star Wars Battlefront 2. It isn't particularly challenging (especially if you have 2 human players versus AI), but it's super fun. Instant action over LAN should still work fine (though online is shut down), and many of the maps have vehicles with multiple seats.

Borderlands 1 and 2 both have some vehicle sections where two players can share a vehicle.

If you're okay with a more hardcore simulation, ARMA can give you what you want as well.

In general, for finding co-op games, http://www.co-optimus.com/ is a great place to look. They have quite a few ways you can fine tune your search based on what you want.

I would say try checking out arma 2. It has custom missions you can get off the internet or you you can make your own. I would suggest get arma 2 AO because it makes the game so much better
