Selling on market always requires mobile now?
So ive noticed selling cards even as low as 5 cents now require steam mobile confirmation. Anyone else get this? And uhhh why? i thought anything below 1 euro/dollar was supposed to not require it...

Could be realted to the scammers using that to take user stuff or transferring cost, as there stealing the how much they get matters little to them, so selling it for penuts or for a fair cost don't matter as long as they sell it and can use it for something else, or transfer it around to sell later
So guess Valve trying to fight it with that or something of that sort

Damn that sucks. As someone who keeps selling my acquired trading cards having to go into the app every single time for actual cents is a bit of a nuiscance.

Blame the scammers.
They are the ones to blame as they either use scam trading sites or phishing tactics to steal other users account login info.

While yes one could blame scammers, one could also just blame people in most of those cases could be prevented by the user.

Either way having the option to not need to use steam app for items under 1 euro would be very nice. And then them just having a disclaimer saying the user agrees to full responsibility.

Good, it'll help prevent scammers from stealing our inventory

It's very odd, some things under a dollar don't require confirmation and some do...no rhyme or reason to anything...same with the pending thing...they needed to push out a warning system for every transaction way before these changes were made, as is...nobody can trust anything they are selling and the buyer has all the power and gets the item instantly while we jump through security hoops without a warning system in place.
