Cheerful, Bright RPGs
I'm looking for some light-hearted, easy playing, cheerful atmosphere type RPGs for PC. Comical is fine, but doesn't necessarily have to be funny. Just looking for a change of pace from all the dark, intense RPGs I've been playing lately. Something I can look forward to playing, not stress out about while I'm playing it. (Darkest Dungeon anyone?)

Any ideas?

I have. Spent a lot of time playing them.
These first two are pretty easy to get into.

business sim/action RPG, cheery tone with adorable humor:

turn-based JRPG with very detailed setting construction:

These latter two are not as easy to get into, but still cheerful and bright for the most part.

platformer/action RPG/metroidvania:

Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1 & 2 seem to be the perfect match
Baldur's Gate Series. It's not light but it's more "Lord of the Rings" than "The Walking Dead". And to be honest I still haven't found a better RPG.

I would second Kingdoms of Amalur. Great game.

"Cthullhu saves the world" Is humorous and has a lot of traditional RPG feel, but might not ncessarily be 'light'

Also Breath of Death VI - not as good as Cthulu Saves the World. More Pokemon light than a traditional RPG.

You can't go wrong with LOH. I am playing it on my PSP at this moment and it always keeps you smiling for reason I don't know. Maybe because Estelle is a bright girl and full of life.
Of course there's the Sims 4 if you like your adventures to be domestic.

Any of the Fables. Fate also, but they're more hack and slash than "true" RPGs.

'The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: the Amulet of Chaos' might do it for you. It's based on a French comic series, doesn't take itself to serious and is quite funny at times. The turn based fights where you position and commadn multiple team members are good.
