Good games for making friends?
Just kind of looking for game recommendations to make friends in. I usually like playing healers in games that have it. Some that I've played:

Marvel Rivals - that it has healers is nice but matches are silent even if I try speaking
FF14 - Raiding was decent but I burnt out and haven't had luck outside of that, of course matchmaking content doesn't really result in friends
SoT - I just get destroyed in open, private servers are OK but queues that can be hours long are a pain
Abiotic Factor - I like the basebuilding side but my friends moved on and public servers are bleak
DRG - OKish but I burn out of this one fast
VRChat - pretty fun exploring worlds but I think I'm not extraverted enough to do well here.
Factorio/Satisfactory - I like these if I can focus on smaller things so I don't get overwhelmed but... another one my existing friends stopped playing and hard to publicly find people

So I would hope to find a game that sort of leads into making friends, instead of having to find people beforehand or externally since I'm bad at this. I'm also not a skilled gamer, so it needs to be pretty approachable (e.g., anything that can be described as a "competitive shooter" is out for sure).

Based on all this, would anyone perhaps have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

@Yumemirareru hi, i have the same sort of chalenges to.
i am classic autistic and ID,so i can relate as im no extrovert either although i can come acros as extro online as i waffle a lot (i have brain injury from my epilepsy). i want friends,i have so much empathy for others and like listening to others, but i dont have the interaction or comunication skills to carry out back forth chat. i dont have speech (i comunicate with an ipad, makaton or PECS) so its dificult to make friends outside of online.

with that in mind,a long time ago i found a game called 'meadow' (the servers shoud still be going) to be incredibly open, very chill and relaxed. the point of the game is nothing big,its just to explore and interact i think, as you play as an animal you comunicate in he noisies they make and in its own style of emoticons, the comunity is probablyy the most non toxic ive ever belongged to,ive met many kind, lovely people threw it,you end up interacting with others,,for example you may be a badger and another person may be controling a lynx and you end up either exploring the huge lands together (it reminds me a bit of minecraft) or playing together as theres things like football with a huge rock for example. there are usualy aranged days every week where everyone can meet up together but i find sometimes it gets a bit like, cliquey and you need to know someone to even get included but its a great game,if you have a steam deck its even better playing meadow on that if you use the the comunity button mapping specificaly for meadow so you dont have to use mouse/keyboard,playing it with controlers is another experience altogether.

Thanks for sharing your story. That's a really interesting looking game, though I admit, how much character stuff is locked behind 'buy our previous games' has me a little concerned. And... if you need to know someone to be included, well... that doesn't bode so well for me.

Funny i also played meadow. I used to be on the top 50 point board for a long time and got the eagle skin. Not sure what they do now since i have not played it in a long time, but i heard alot of new animals were added to it.

I also played it with this one friend who stopped playing with me a long time ago. We used to play it and they used to try to purposely find glitches in the game to be funny.

Be sure to check out my game suggestions. I just finished playing the lord of the rings one, and i made several friends playing it. I also wrote a review about it. This is my 395th review btw:
