i havent found any on steam ,, can you name some??

The following two mmo games have both character leveling and skill leveling, though both community and development team are not the bext, so go in with no real expectations and you should be fine.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/937380/Ashen_Empires/
The following has both character leveling and skill leveling, I am not sure if the rest of the series has similar systems, but I would assume so.

The following series has character leveling, and what could be considered class leveling (depending on weapon/skill usage).

excellent list. so many games i played here as younger. i didnt know they were on steam.
got 250 hours in corekeeper and beat it twice.
could never get dungeon siege (any older) to work on newer windows (win 11)
also played dransik looooooooong ago like when i played Runescape , but forgot that it existed.
which would you recommend out of dransik and ashen empires? are they not the same game?
never heard of 9th dawn, but i will try it also if it has a system similar to the games that have been posted here.
another game i have played alot:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/233860/Kenshi/
(if anyone check this thread and like this type of games)
9th Dawn is like a single/co-op version of Dransik (which it's self was based off of Ultima).
Dungeon Siege - runs on windows 11 for me, but is limited to resolution, there was a warning though, but the game physically started up, allowed me to create a character and enter the game, kill the first wee goblin enemy.(not tested it further), there are no doubt some guides/mods out there that allow it to run on a modern system with proper resolution.
Dungeon Siege II - run on windows 11 for me, but is quite messed up, no fullscreen, and the same as above limited resolution, looking around there are mods to fix this, there was no warning from windows 11 for this.
Edit: removed the link from the quote.
Wish listed, played the one on the DS, spent plenty of hours messing about in it.
it does lack the survival stuff, but it has a great leveling up system. As for ones with survival stuff, i would try valheim.
Watch out for the dragon freeze bug in Dungeon siege 2. I had to use a mod to bypass it. Also wrote a guide to avoid a the mining bug in dungeon siege 3.

You also have to work on leveling magic in the game.
