Generally speaking: don't go beyond what the game provides and make very sure that you're within the "boundaries" of said game.
I'll provide some examples... Midnight Ride is one of my favorite adult games: simple, silly and fun (IMO). If you follow the link you'll notice that this game is specifically marked as "Adult only". You will also notice plenty of "naughty" aka explicit screenshots on said product page. Ergo... if your guide would contain some explicit pictures then that wouldn't be an issue ♥♥♥♥♥ *.
Another example... Mosaique Neko Waifu's 2. You may notice 2 things... 1) This game isn't rated "Adult only" yet trust me: it's still a naughty game. How does that work? They provide a patch to unlock the naughty bits. Yet this is a problem: because the game as it is provided on Steam does not contain any "naughty stuff" you'd better make darn sure that any guides also do not feature anyting explicit because otherwise it could land you in trouble.
Always keep in mind: Steam provides filters to make sure that fellow Steamers who do not want to get confronted with this will never "just" get to see b00bs or the likes. Not unless they enabled such contents themselves in their account settings. And that's what you should keep in mind when writing a guide.
I hope this can help!
* PS.... keep in mind that I'm only focussing myself on the "naughty stuff" here, obviously you will also need to make sure that any guides follow Steam's rules of conduct and such as well.
I checked another one as well after posting this, since I never even tried screenshoting or posting content for those, and indeed , naughty things do seem to be fine on those areas as well :)
