If you deleted all your email, they're long gone. You don't get to have a 2nd chance to save that information.
Look in your transaction history, to see when the first game was put on the account. Work from there.
If anyone was able to just ask "what was that email again" scammers would have all of our accounts.
What does your friend has to do with an email address associated with your account?
You don't need to prove anyone anything. Support will have a history of the addresses associated to every account. As a matter of fact, anyone else knowing it is a security risk as this information can be used to recover an account.

Or did you get it from this 'friend'?
Or did they USE your email for their own? I mean none of this adds up, so yeah fraud is fraud either way I can see this turning out...
for some people its also the login name.
Steam did put the first part of an email as displayname.
Knowing the email is a bad requirement for successful recovery of an account.
Also its still not documented in the faq.
