Any good singleplayer RPG's for a lower end PC?
Hey, guys!

I know, I should get a better PC, but I'm currently stuck with a lackluster desktop from Wal-Mart. The integrated graphics aren't that strong, so I can't play anything too demanding, but I'm looking for some fun singleplayer RPG's to sink some time into.

Any recommendations?

If this is a new machine, just look at any games released prior to 2010 and you should be okay. More demanding titles like Dragon Age: Origins might be a little slow unless you back down all video options, but they should all be playable.

I was also going to recommend dragon age origins. Mass effect, elder scrolls oblivion, far cry 2 and fallout 3 might work? They go on sale fairly often.

Mass Effect is a good one, but to fully enjoy the game you need all complete series and DLC which steam missing the last series.

You can always go for the Baldurs Gate games. The Torchlight games should run well on anything.

Might get a little boggy with mobs, but yeah.
All of these should work, as long as it's not like netbook-grade stuff. And even if it is I'd still expect most of these to work. These were all originally released at least several years ago.

You don't need a technically-demanding game to have an excellent experience. :)

Well then, Torchlight is really good choice. But my personal choice would be like Elsword, even if that's not singleplayer. It don't require so much from computer and it's really fun. I highly recommend this game. But Elsword probably isn't on steam, so.
