It gets a little bit better yeah but its still very slow

HDD space and RAM are not the only factors. You need to state what CPU, GPU and if it is desktop or laptop as well as look at what programs you are running in the background.

Your power supply may also be a factor if your system is underpowered.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Six Core 3.5GHz
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 280x

1TB Hard Drive
8GB Ram
3GB VRam
This a DYI with a clean windows install or a prebuilt?

If you just reinstalled Windows you probably don't have all the proper drivers installed.

What motherboard / PSU/ antivirus?

Tbh, windows does a good job with installing basic drivers for amd builds minus catalyst which at this point should be 15.7 you've installed, you honestly don't need to do much.

I wasn't too impressed with my FX8350 either until I went into bios and disabled cool n quiet, C1E, Turbo boost then manually set cpu clock to 4.4ghz also in windows set power options to high performance, you should be able to get 300-400mhz OC easily on the 6300. Double check your ram timmings with cpu-z CL should be no higher than cl9 the lower the better.

You should also short stroke your hdd if the os is on it ie make a partition 200-250GB for windows use the rest for storage, the fastest part of a drive is usually the first 30ish % after %50 it'll be slower.

Ps, what hdd 7200rpm Seagate, wd black/blue/green?
