Why do some items sell for 100x their price on the market
I have an item on my inventory worth 0.29€, when i saw the price history i saw that alot of times they sold for 100€+ , And this happens arround 10 times a day, so i have been wondering why does this sometimes happens? Is it a bug? Or are people just making huge overpay for some reason?

Second one. Either because they are that stupid and have the money to burn or more likely because it's the only way to transfer wallet money on Steam.
Usually a lot of these overpays are a result of people that have hijacked someone elses account and are using this to transfer out the money.
It also is a way to "sell" an expensive item that can't be listed on the market...
Steam should cap the prices of certain items to keep its average.

They are not going to prevent someone for selling an item for more than it's worth.
Free Market YEEEEEEEEEAAAHHRRR!

I've currently got a Postal 2 Gary Coleman card for sale at 120€ iirc. Or maybe even more. Nobody will ever buy it, but I think that's what my Gary's worth, if not more. :)
They're likely part of a transaction that was done in lieu of cash...
...like human trafficking.
Those spikes are annoying because even single of it change scale of graph and other sales look like flat line. Graph become useless.
