Who has the most time spent on any game?

I'm interested in the devotion of PC gamers. I love scouring through reviews and seeing "1160 hours spent." Now, I want to look farther than that. If you know anyone who has an astounding amount of time spent on a game or want to help in the search, message me.

Im going to assume you mean 20,000 hours on a single game, as 200k Hours on a single game is physically impossible, as thats 22 years. But he has plenty of games with 20k hours which isnt too impressive either.

Idled time. Who would play Outlast for 4000 hours? You can complete the game more than 400 times in that time.

Non-steam game - Overwatch - 2k hrs
steam game - Team Fortress 2 - 2.5k hrs.

Can't give you example right here on Steam, and frankly I wouldn't even know where to begin.

However, I'm an avid reader of video game history books and so on, and have the occasional Guinness Book of Video Games Records. One of the cases in there thatbill is the guy who created a game of Civilization 2 (?) and left it running between the AI just to see what would happen.

Several AI players, I thin it was 10 whittled down to 2, and periodically loading the game up over a ten year period (I assume that's FAR more now) showed a pattern emerge where one side would briefly eke out a bit of dominance, gain ground, then nuclear conflixt would break out, toasting the whole world and back to a stalemate again.

I thoroughly recommend looking that up as it's a daft story.

In three years Nov 17 to last week. I've played on steam SP 4,651.8 hours. And that's not padding or anything else, just loved playing AoE2. Now looks like I won't be playing it again as I can't control my Cobras.

This. In my opinion it's a dumb thing because it makes the playtime count pointless, but I guess that everyone can do whatever they want with their games, lol.

if you look at some of the stats people have on something like steamladder idling is such a common thing. For example atm the highest total playtime across steam is by a guy named Tuong Do[steamladder.com] with just over 1.8million total hour playtime.

The highest CS:S hours is by VampeD[steamladder.com] with just under 72k

The highest Garry's Mod hours is by Default Bot[steamladder.com] with just under 77k.

I do this with Black desert Online when i'm not actively playing, because theres things your toon can do while you're afk, like weight training or fishing.

I have it minimized in the background.

You can say the same for achievements or anything frankly.

THey are pointless because you can never know another person's validity. That's why these things are only good as self motivation.
