Who has the most time spent on any game?

I'm interested in the devotion of PC gamers. I love scouring through reviews and seeing "1160 hours spent." Now, I want to look farther than that. If you know anyone who has an astounding amount of time spent on a game or want to help in the search, message me.

There was an earlier post in this thread where a poster mentioned someone who had played 130,000+ hours of Borderlands 2 according to his Steam profile. Borderlands 2 was not released 14 years ago.

A couple years ago there was a bug on steam that showed incorrect playtime hours, now it is impossible to see anyone with 130,000+ hours on a single game on steam. you can still make it look like you are spoofing hours on steam as you can get it to show 11k hours played in the past 2 weeks, but it's just 33 games gaining 336 hours in the past 2 weeks. If the hour bug was still implemented in steam, you would see a lot more people with hours that are more than the release date of the game allows.

Worthy of note, I have several games with literally thousands of hours (1k+ on CK2, 2.5k+ on ITRTG, 1.2k+ on EUIV, plus more that I can't remember off the top of my head, yet the tools they use to track playtime on that site somehow picks my total hours at below 16k. I haven't bothered totaling my actual playtime, but I know it's more than 16k.

(Also, holy hell I hope this is wrong otherwise I rank 111th in the UK for total playtime X_x)

Granted, if they ignore F2Ps I do suffer a substantial drop - however at the same time, clearly DotA2 is tracked.

I added up your hours, your under 16k no doubt but only by 10-200 hours at most.

I added up your hours, your under 16k no doubt but only by 10-200 hours at most.

Yeah I noticed that, I'm not sure why steam has so few hours in a few of my games compared to Raptr's same estimates (when I tend to have Raptr off and steam on); whatever though, I still question the number, I just now question Steam rather than steamladder lol.

Sidenote and actually on topic - I have coming up to 3k hours in ITRTG, which is my highest steam game - outside of steam I have H&G (which I primarily run the non-steam client of) at somewhere between 10k-20k (I haven't looked in a long time, it was close to 15k when I last looked though) Guild Wars 1 (~10k when I moved to GW2, though I have put in a few hundred hours since and simply haven't checked playtime since), plus CK2 at around 3.5k hours (1k on steam, 2.5k on two other versions of the game) and god above knows how long in EU3, but probably around 3-5k - but I never used anything that timed it whilst I played.

Longest console game playtime I have is in Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1&2 on Gamecube - where I had around 1.5k hours. Mostly because back then I didn't have as much money to buy games whenever I get bored of one.

Well, considering you can just idle games 24/7 (or pretend they are running), even multiple ones at the same time, playtime isn't very meaningful.
