The servers? Very slim and if it did, they date is encrypted so the above would still apply in order to decrypt it.
99% of "hacked" accounts are due to phishing the user for the information. Don't give out your information, double check links, don't download strange programs and don't upload anything that has to do with security (such a steam file that holds your SteamGuard authentication).
but if you´re serious, everything is hackable. beeing curious is the first way to stay safe. the other things sure help too. most hacks work with phishingmails i guess. too bad there are always enough people who have no clue how to "live" or behave online. change your password regulary and you should be fine. even if you should get hacked. you have enough proof about you, that the hackers doesn´t have (id, keys in manuals, etc.). i know hacked accounts mostly from blizzard. there is no need for any pin-generator or so in steam. it could help with agerestrictions though (for uncut games in germany e.g.).
