Report a translation problem
Steam only tells you the card was used. THey dont control who sold it to you.
Blame the people/company/scammer who sold you the card.
Other companies are putting the cards in a cardboard envelop which blocks the numbers. If the cards are exposed, never take the front one, get one from the back, it is more likely to not have the number stolen. As Satoru said, take it back to the store with your receipt and get an exchange.
Not possible. Codes on the cards are not active until purchased to beging with. That would mean that somone would have to input the code between the time of purchase and when you entered it into the account.
A code could not have been randomly generated in that short period of time.
Then go back to the place that has your money
