Looking for Chill but good games to play
Hi I have anxiety disorder and panic disorder, and I find it hard to find good chill games that wont spike my anxiety. I used to play counterstrike but thats obviously the worse game for people with my disease. Can anyone recommend some chill but challenging but somewhat complex games. Multiplayer or non. Thank you.

Smite. I don't think the game is fast paced like League.

These come under the tag 'Relaxing'.

I'd say anxiety is more of a disorder than a disease.
Have you checked out the social anxiety website?

Anno series pretty realxing, if you can cope with town fires and plague outbreaks

Wurm online / Wurm unlimited if you can ignore huge spiders and burning hellhounds strafing around

Uncharted waters online, most realxing i guess, includes hourlong sailing around ....

Heroes of might and magic 3, old but best of series, turn based....if you can realx with demonic creatures, dragons, skeletons on screen

thank you
Turn-based JRPG withsome tactical elements. Most notable for its very well-written story and meticulously-detailed setting where ever NPC has a unique personality and dialogue that changes over time and based on what you do for them.

Turn-based virtual boardgame, with pretty friendly community. Do note there are multiple game speeds, and many players do multiplayer on the fastest speed...but you're certainly not obligated to do so, and I don't recommend you do that unless you know the game very well. That said they still take turns slower than the max game speed anyway, ironically. Much time is spent laughing and chatting about all the hilarious random misfortune that can happen in the game. Lots of strategy depth, surprisingly.

Exploration platformer with no combat, but with elements of photography.

Same dev as above, same basic style (exploration platformer with no combat), but much larger game.

Turn-based forced-scrolling roguelike/RPG, with simple basic storyline but a lot more to discover beyond that. (get this for cheaper on the publisher's own site)

Fantasy item shop business sim, with optional action RPG component.

Platformer with lots of levels and a difficulty curve ranging from easy to very challenging

Action RPG with selectable difficulty levels, as well as very emotional story.

Eufloria is, in its relaxed play style, very relaxing. Also Zen Bound.

hey, I also have anxiety disorder and panic disorder, plus sozial anxiety, so if u need to talk, you're welcome here.

I know that troubles with games, but I had luck. Just games with motionblurr or headbumping bothered me.
Maybe you could try some different mmo's? was the best for me in my hardest times.

Just in case: Dont try Payday, Farcry, Bioshock or Tombraider. Those were the worst for me.

You can also check out my games, maybe theres something in for u (beside those I said u should not play)

Kinda surprised how noone mentioned Stardew Valley
Its a farming sim similar to Harvest Moon but imo much better and has a realy good soundtrack
I like to play it after an intense session of Csgo or other rts games

Its a bit grindy at the start and all but the game is really deep with content and relaxing to play because you have nothing to worry about

Ratings are Overwhelmingly Positive so it should give you an idea of the game's quality

Maybe try The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It's pretty short, but it's very calm and chilling. (There is only 1 5 minute section which is a little bit dark, but it's short) Or play funny and crazy games, like Borderlands2. It's a shooter, it's not even hard, and is full of craziness :)

I can understand you, because I have a similar problem, not being able to play games with a time limit. A lifetime of deadlines in your job can do that to you.

If I want to chill I can name a few games to you. As category, you should look for turnbased games, where you have all time of the world to react. Most JRPG/tactical JRPG would do it.

And as you seen for yourself, don't play competitive multiplayer games. Maybe you should try Coop games like the borderlands series. It's nice to have somebody helping you.instead off trying to kill you.

Or try the LEGO game series. I use them to relax. They are harmless and funny. My favorites are Jurissic World and Harry Potter years 1-4.They can be played in CooP,too, even with splitscreen.

Have you tried Diablo-like games. Good ones are Titan quest, Grim Dawn and Torchlight. They can be pretty smoothing. At least for myself.
