I presume it's people that know very little about crypto having too much pandemic downtime, looking for income without putting in any actual effort. But that's just conjecture.

This is the 3rd or so topic I've seen in just as many days, about people wanting Steam to implement cryptomining...people really want free stuff with little to no effort...

Why does it have to be on Steam, get a dedicated client and start mining.

Just be aware, what you can mine with your computer would probably give far less than collecting empty bottles and cans or mowing a lawn once a month.

Bitcoin's reached a point where its too expensive for the common pleb to buy into either by mining or purchasing so like always they want a new crypto that they can get in on the ground floor of.

Basically its a pyramid scheme that spawns more pyramid schemes.
