Except Valve already stated clearly that if the day ever comes where Steam would shut down (which is never going to happen, even if Valve would go bankrupt somehow), they would work on a way to let us access all the games we have on our accounts afterwards.
Out of the non-obscure ones GOG is the only one.
And all you really own on GOG is a license, just like on Steam.
GoG rules:
Can I share games with others?
Your account and games are for your personal use only. If you want to share them, you can always buy a gift for that person.
The DRM-free nature of our service means that we trust you that this will not be abused.
IF you ACTUALLY would OWN GoG Games.... they could not disallow that you share them. :D :D :D
The ONLY thing that GoG offers you is DRM FREE, doesnt mean you own them...
