I hope they give Gordon a voice though. It adds to the immersion of a game.
There are some things in life that I don't believe until I see it. This is one of those things.
It is like believing a Liberal politician is telling the truth. They aren't and I believe the actions, not the words said.
I'm rather curious about what he'd even sound like.
Alright I am 100% onboard with that-
It's like making Halo 1 and 2 and then never making any more.
Question is = with a number pattern of 1, 2, n..., what is n?
It's either 3 or 4.
Half Life 4?
But there is a massive catch 22 problem.
The original games were stellar and for good reason. The first Half Life was praised at the time because it was a truly ground breaking game - it was an FPS but it not only told a great story (not through cutscenes) but also had other elements like puzzling within it's engine.
This was almost unheard of at the time, and did it so well right off the bat.
The second refined this even more and came out when others had also come out similarly, but it was so far ahead with compelling story and just, MORE that it was rightly seen as a classic too.
In short, there was nothing really like them at the time.
But now, things have LONG moved on. So here's the Catch 22 - if they deviate too far from what has already been laid by the previous games, then you alienate a lot of people. But on the other hand, if you stick to it it will be dismissed as an antiquated game because that type of game has been done to death now.
In short, they've painted themselves into a corner with this. They know it.
So it'll come out if someone actually comes up with some compeling redesign that pushes it on enough to warrant it being made. But obviosuly as time goes on, the harder that becomes.
There will still be the diehard fans, like metal gear solid games, devil may cry installments, lots of people are fans of those games, myself included
I think they can innovate enough on the gameplay to make it feel like another step up from hl1 and hl2
your deranged little mind is so sad.....its funny you think you are owning little lib minds when you cant talk of anything else......
