Only Highlighting Latest Reply?

Recently, something wonky has been happening with my steam alerts, in that when I click to view my comment replies, it jumps to the end of the thread and only highlights the most recent reply. It was previously jumping to the last page I left off, and highlighting ALL of the new replies instead.

I don't know what happened to change this process, but it's extremely irritating. Especially when I get an alert telling me I've got, like 40 new replies. Because it means I have to manually retrace myself back to the page where I posted my last reply and try to remember which posts are new, and which ones are old.
